Crow Backup is currently being developed in Lucerne (Switzerland) by Laurin, Roman, Raphael and Lina. Laurin and Roman have a bachelor’s degree in software development, Lina in graphic design and Raphael in business informatics. And they have all been working successfully in their respective professions for several years.

As one of the two main developers of Crow Backup, I am responsible for ensuring that your data is stored securely and is not lost. I primarily develop the technology in the background (backend) and make sure that, in the worst case scenario, your data can be restored at any time (provided your friend is online). When I’m not developing, I like to spend time with my familiy or go travelling.
As one of the two main developers, I make sure that you can use Crow Backup well and understand how our application works (UX design). This means that Crow Backup is not only useful for you and me, but also for people who are not yet digital natives. Besides programming for Crow Backup, I like to go bouldering and in the evening I love to cook.

Crow Backup not only has to work, it also has to be understandable and look pretty. That’s what I’m responsible for! As a professional graphic artist and screen designer, I work with the developers to create the look and feel of the application. In my private life, I enjoy cycling and am involved in a women’s organisation.
The development of Crow Backup presents all kinds of technical challenges. My job is to provide enough space for the business side of things and to think about future business models. I like to put our software through its paces and always focus on our users. When I’m not working on Crow Backup, I like to go hiking or play the guitar.
